When Maddy St. Michael created a new show by combining elements of "General Hospital," The Betty Ford Clinic and "Whose Line is it Anyway?" There was no script, no sketches and no rehearsal. Each week the actors would add to the story and develop characters while playing improv games in a soap opera style. Audience suggestions would be used in order to keep the actors off-balance and the story fresh.

The night of the first preview was pretty scary, even for the most experienced performers since there was no rehearsal. But once the audience started laughing, it became fun. Improv is about spontaneity. The cast is full of wonderful people who have the incredible ability to be funny when under pressure. The result is theatrical, entertaining and refreshing.

The entire cast of Soap Scum invites you to come laugh with us and share the magic every Thursday night.
